Cover for loss or damage to your personal watercraft caused by water entering the motor, subject to the applicable excess and policy conditions.
Cover for certain personal effects belonging to you or your passengers while they are being used or stored on the personal watercraft.
Eligible items include clothing, shoes, waterproof apparel, prescription glasses, prescription sunglasses and GoPro cameras. Cover is limited to $1,500 per item and $10,000 in total, with a $200 excess unless otherwise agreed.
Cover if your personal watercraft or insured watersports equipment is stolen, or if your personal watercraft is deliberately damaged by someone without your consent.
If your personal watercraft is declared a total loss within two years of its original registration, Nautilus Marine may replace it with one of the same make, model or series. If a replacement is unavailable, the agreed or market value shown on your Certificate of Insurance may be paid.

Cover for impact damage that causes your trailer tyre to puncture, burst or blow out, or damages the rim so the tyre cannot be inflated. Cover is limited to $1,500, with no excess.

Our pleasure craft insurance policy has been designed to provide coverage options for a range of boat types – new and used. We cover many types of pleasure craft, including: Comprehensive, Third Party Only, Extended Blue Water Yacht Racing & Blue Water Cruising.
Our comprehensive insurance covers accidental loss or damage cover, similar in scope to comprehensive motor vehicle cover. It includes theft of the vessel, and/or its contents and personal effects, malicious damage and includes cover for transit damage, for boats designed to be transported on their own trailer.
Our basic policy covers you for sail boat racing up to 100 nautical miles. Upon you request we can extend your policy for Extended Yacht Racing racing over 100 nautical miles, providing you and your boat meet our underwriting criteria. Determining factors may be, but are not limited to, the age and type of your mast, the type of rigging your boat has, and your own personal experience.
For those who may only require this level of coverage, we offer a policy which is restricted to damage or injury that you cause to a third party. There is no cover for your own boat under this option.
Customers looking to make a longer trip can take advantage of our Blue Water Cruising policy extension. We can extend your policy for Blue Water Cruising in international waters providing you and your boat meet our underwriting criteria. Determining factors may be, but are not limited to, the age, type and construction of your boat, as well as your own personal experience.
